I actually never even thought to doubt Noah’s flood until recently. I thought it was widely accepted as historical fact. It turns out, it’s not.
While this doesn’t mean there wasn’t a flood, it does mean that it was likely not worldwide. Does that mean that the Bible is false? I don’t think so. More importantly, some Biblical scholars don’t think so.
So while we may consider the Scriptures the inerrant word of God, it’s actually possible that the error is not in God’s word itself, but in the human interpretation of it.
